Ocean County BJJ Expands!

What an amazing day at OCBJJ Academy!
Congratulations to Coach Tom DeBlass, his lovely fiancee Nichole and their amazing students on such spectacular accomplishment!
Over 60 OCBJJ students, plus many visitors came to Prof. Almeida's seminar and Grand Opening Ceremony of the brand new Ocean County Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy facility, a haven for Jiu Jitsu practitioners under the guidance of Ricardo Almeida's Brown Belt Coach Tom DeBlass.
Coach Tom DeBlass has been able to take his student body to over 200 dedicated students over the less than 2 years his school has been open. A fantastic accomplishment that puts Coach Tom's Academy among the top Jiu Jitsu schools in the world.
The seminar raised a total of $3,500.00, which was donated to The Children's Hospital, thank you Judy for accepting OCBJJ's contribution.

success they can possibly have.

work both of you have done.

You are OCBJJ's future Black Belts, make sure you work hard toward your ultimate goal.

Vitor "Shaolin" Ribeiro Training at RABJJ!

Vitor Shaolin Ribeiro

Big welcome to Vitor "Shaolin Ribeiro, who will be training
with Prof. Almeida for his upcoming fight in Japan (K-1).
To MMA fans, you know VERY WELL who Shaolin is, as he has impressed and terrorized
the 155 lbs weight class in Japan. Shaolin holds an impressive MMA record of 19-2-0.
Vitor Ribeiro is most importantly a very accomplished grappler. He has won the
CBJJ Mundials (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Championship) four times (amazing),
once as a purple belt in 1996 and three times as a black belt in three consecutive years (1999, 2000, and 2001). He has competed in the ADCC World Championship in 2000 and 2003.
Above all else, he is an amazing guy who loves to train hard and has Jiu Jitsu as his true and #1 career passion!
