RABJJ's Annual Black Belt Ceremony, New Time and New Location!

This year has passed by so quickly! RABJJ's 2008 Black Belt Ceremony has finally been scheduled and we hope to see all of you here!

 

 

ATTENTION STUDENTS: PLEASE, DON'T FORGET YOUR GI.
All students will be wearing them, incuding our special guests!

Video and photo cameras are not only allowed, but also welcome.

As you can imagine, it will be a fantastic ceremony! Make sure you register to attend - we have rented a great venue for the Ceremony, and we can now accommodate 400 people!

When you arrive, please look for the gymnasium.
We can't wait!

Here is the catch: 300 super dedicated students have already commited to such amazing event after we announced that we can now accommodate more people, so if you would like to attend, please register as soon as possible. We will be closing the doors once we reach capacity, and that will be 400 students.
It would be very unecessary and uncomfortable  to have to turn people away only because they didn't
bother signing up. Once again, first come, first serve. Don't take chances as doors will be closed for the ceremony.

More of our special guests will be announced soon! It will be unbelievable!

New Merchandise is Finally Here!

Well, at least some of it. We have received our AWESOME RABJJ Association's Sprawl/RABJJ shorts and hats, and they look and feel amazing!

Make sure you get yours before we run out, and we'll let you know why:

Sprawl/RABJJ grappling shorts are finally allowed to be worn at No Gi classes, so if you attend no gi classes those are must have items. The new merchandise comes in different colors (hats too), so make your way to the front desk and grab your items!

Mestre Renzo Gracie Will Visit RABJJ in November!

Our new RABJJ Association rashguards will be in within the next week, so keep an eye out for them! Each rashguard will represent your rank in class, so let our staff know that you're interested in purchasing one and the item is yours!

Ricardo Almeida Association's Pan Ams 2008 Results are in! We won 16 medals!

Congratulations to all of our dear RABJJ Association instructors and students! We came out swinging this past weekend in NYC and raked in quite a few medals at the 2008 No Gi Pan Ams.
Our Association won:

 9 GOLD MEDALS,
2 SILVER MEDALS 
5 BRONZE MEDALS!


We all had a fantastic time and Prof. Almeida had the pleasure of once again cornering as many students as he could. Big congratulations to South Jersey BJJ, Ocean County BJJ, JBM BJJ and of course, RABJJ for representing so greatly our amazing family!

Thank you Prof. Steven Bongiorno, Prof. Brian McPherson, Coach Tom DeBlass and many others who took the lead and made sure they brought their students to victory.
There were also so many of you who did a spectacular job fighting so hard through many matches, but falling a little short on your very last match. Huge props to you! With or without a medal, it is always great to enjoy  the lessons learned after so much preparation. You did your best, and that's all that really matters!
